Our God is Faithful

September 26, 2012 by Debbie 1 Comment

As we spend fun times celebrating 2 of our children’s birthdays every September, I’m always reminded of the pain that many long years once brought…the unfufilled longing for a child that caused such ache in my heart, the confusion that left me wondering why God wouldn’t answer or why His timing seemed so “off.”

I now look at these amazing treasures that fill our lives and days, these precious ones who call me Mom, and better understand that He had a plan in place all along – HIS plan – which is always, ALWAYS the best one!

His timing is never late, His thoughts are higher than ours, His ways don’t always fit neatly into the box – but we can trust that He is faithful to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine.

So thankful for the creative and unique ways He chooses to put families together, for the incredible GIFT it is to be Mom to these 3, and for all the days still yet to come…my.heart.is.full.of.JOY.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.”  Isaiah 55:8

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power…to Him be glory…throughout all generations,  for ever and ever!”  Ephesians 3:20-21

If I could, I’d offer you a cup of coffee and would love a chance just to sit and talk, to hear your stories about life – the joys and the struggles too.

In whatever you’re facing today, my heart is that you might find some encouragement through these pages and fresh hope in God’s words ...
