My new cell phone was delivered recently. I know, I know, I should have been excited, ecstatic, jumping for joy, but I found myself saying, without much emotion, “oh my new phone.” I brought in the box, set it on the counter, stared at the unopened package for a few minutes, and then went on with my day.
My 10 yr.old Dawson gets home from school, sees the box, and lets out a rip-roarin’ scream, “MOM, YOUR NEW PHONE IS HERE! WOOHOO!!!” He rips open the package, and within a matter of moments, puts it all together, gets my old SIM card, transfers over the information, takes a few pics, sends a few texts, downloads some new apps, makes a few calls, and then says, “Hey Mom, can I borrow your phone tonight?”
Love my tech savvy son. I.am.challenged.
