Girlfriends Give Strength to Keep Pressing On.

girlfriends

Have you ever just been having a really hard day and then something happens that changes everything?  A friend calls, or sends a text, or invites you to lunch, or just stops by, or leaves a little gift at your door, and makes you laugh, and cry, and listens to all the stuff on your mind, and prays for you, and doesn’t judge, or condemn.  They just love you…just like you are…in all the joy of a good day…or the mess of a bad one.

BREATHES LIFE into a tired soul.  Sheer grace of God on our day.  That’s what friends are.

One thing is true in this life.  It’s not meant to be lived alone.  We so need each other.

We all rub shoulders every day with people who are weary, hurting, lonely.  Sometimes we notice, but often we don’t, maybe because we’re busy, preoccupied, or overwhelmed ourselves.  Honestly, many days, it seems that “we” are those people, the weary, the hurting, the lonely.  Just needing someone to notice…

And truly, there’s nothing like girlfriends coming alongside you, to encourage, or just offer a listening ear, and a heart that says, ‘I see you.  I care.”  There’s such power there.  In women helping other women, linking arms, showing support.

You can find it here, at (in)courage, in an online community group that fits you.  There’s something for everyone, every stage, every age, every phase, where you can find connection and friendship.

Registration opens today, Monday, May 19th, for one week only.  Groups will close when 30 members have joined, so don’t wait! All community groups take place in a private facebook group page online and are led by women who understand where you are. They get it, the imperfect struggle of day to day, and have a heart to just love God and walk alongside you in your journey.  Groups will last for 6 weeks – perfect for some summer infusion of refreshment to the soul.

What a great way  to kick off summer – with 30 new friends, who will pray for you, support you, and encourage you onward.

There’s about 70 to choose from – wow.

Groups for moms – of girls, and boys, and those who stay at home, and those who have careers outside the home, for those who homeschool, for those who have adopted, for those who have special needs kids, and so many more…

Groups for all women – singles, military wives, women in ministry, empty nesters, for those who love to write, the list goes on…

And y’all, these women at incourage, they’re the real deal.  They care.  They love God.  They are there to support you.  So thankful to have found this ministry a few years ago.  I know you’ll feel right at home here.

And if you’re a boy mom, I’d be thrilled for you to come join us in the Raising Warriors group!

Thankful for all of you that have blessed my life with your friendships over the years.  Women who are willing to love and support make this world a better, stronger place. 🙂

Will I have an opportunity to register for one of the groups in 6 weeks? I’m just now reading your blog for the first time.

If I could, I’d offer you a cup of coffee and would love a chance just to sit and talk, to hear your stories about life – the joys and the struggles too.

In whatever you’re facing today, my heart is that you might find some encouragement through these pages and fresh hope in God’s words ...
